The development of centrifuges in China
In industrial production, centrifuges basically belong to post-processing equipment and are mainly used in dehydration, concentration, separation, clarification, purification and solid particle grading and other technological processes. It is correspondingly developed with the development of various industrial sectors. For example, after the industrial revolution of the 18th century, with the rapid development of the textile industry, cotton dewatering machines appeared in 1836. In order to meet the needs of the cheese processing industry in 1877, a separator for separating milk was invented. After entering the 20th century, with the development of the comprehensive utilization of petroleum, water, solid impurities, and tar-like materials were required to be removed in order to use heavy oil as a fuel oil. In the 1950s, the automatic discarded disc piston slag separation was successfully developed. Machine, developed into a complete series of products by the 60s. With the requirements of modern environmental protection and waste management and development, the requirements for industrial wastewater and sludge dehydration treatment are very high. Therefore, the horizontal spiral unloading sedimentation centrifuge, disc separator and three-legged lower discharge sedimentation centrifuge are encouraged. The machine has further development, especially the development of horizontal screw discharge decanter centrifuges. The first spiral centrifuge with modern practical value in China was successfully manufactured by the Guangdong Machinery Plant (now known as the Guangzhong Group) in 1954. In the development of more than 40 years, the structure, performance and parameters have changed greatly. At various international exhibitions, various types of spiral centrifuges are among the most attractive models exhibited by centrifuges and have a good development prospect.
China began to introduce spiral centrifuges from the late 1970s, and imitated various types of horizontal decanter centrifuges produced by famous foreign companies. Decanter Centrifuge is the "September 5" scientific and technological project of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. In 1989, the Nanjing Oasis Machinery Factory copied ALFANx42o type large cone angle (20 centrifuges (L201) for the separation of corn protein, and in 1992 Year after year, prototypes were made; after that, Chongqing Jiangbei Machinery Factory, People’s Liberation Army No. 4819 Plant and Jinhua Railway Machinery Plant developed a series of spiral unloading sedimentation centrifuges and successfully applied them to production practices. China still lags far behind industrialized countries.With the development of modern industrial civilization and the importance of human beings to the environment and sustainable development strategies, the separation effect is good, vibration is small, and noise is low, which is an important condition for acceptance of centrifuges by the market. This requires the centrifuge to have good dynamic characteristics.In general, the dynamic characteristics include the critical speed, unbalanced response and stability, etc. The parameter selection and optimization of the decanter centrifuge is the first step to improve the dynamic characteristics of the decanter centrifuge.
In order to improve the performance of spiral unloading sedimentation centrifuges, people are working on the common problems of centrifuges and performing finite element analysis on the main components. Has achieved some results. The main contents are: Gu Wei, master of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, applied finite element analysis software ANSYS, established a parametric three-dimensional finite element model of the screw conveyor, analyzed the structural statics, and obtained the stress field of the screw conveyor under various load conditions. The displacement field and the analytical design method of the pressure vessel were used to check the stress intensity of the screw conveyor and the radial displacement of the spiral blade was examined. Laid the foundation for structural optimization design.
